Problems with Fallout-patch

Eventhough it was announced proudly by Jason Bergman last week, it new seems Obsidian Entertainment didn't find quite the wonder cure to make Fallout: New Vegas run smoothly.
The fora of publisher Bethesda Softworks quickly has messages from gamers who complained their save games didn't load anymore. The patch was released to stabilize things, but it seems things didn't completely work out as planned.
Bethesda Softworks stated op the forums already that they're looking together with Microsoft for a quick solution.
Our advise would be that gamers who haven't installed the patch yet would do best to wait.
