Prototype 2 gets special DLC, PC version delayed
Activision - Blizzard has announced that Radical Entertainment's upcoming sequel, Prototype 2, will have a special edition that comes with so-called RADNET content.
Free access to the 'RADNET' DLC package will come through a single-use code included with "a limited number of the launch quantities" of Prototype 2 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. How limited? Activision doesn't say. Will it be available another way? The answer--at least at launch--is no. "During the launch period of Prototype 2, the only method of gaining access to RADNET content is via purchasing a new copy of Prototype 2 while supplies last," an official Q&A states. If you're dead certain you want to buy Prototype 2 and scoop this extra DLC, Activision says pre-ordering will guarantee a copy of the RADNET Edition.
The 55 items of DLC "include in-game Events, Challenges, Avatar Items, Dynamic Themes and Behind-the-Scenes videos, as well as bonus Mutations for Prototype 2's main campaign," Activision explains. They'll be released in weekly bundles across seven weeks following the launch of Radical Entertainment's super-powered open-world fleshfest.

Meanwhile, the PC version has been delayed until July 24th. No reason for the delay has been given, but one suggestion is that the Radnet DLC will be included in the Windows version of the game.
