Quake 4 gets patched... big time!
Next to the hundreds of fixes, support for Hyper-Threading and Dual Core systems has also been implemented. There are some new maps included for you trigger happy people. A full list of fixes can be found right here.
As usually, the patch is available from our very own server. Know, however, that this patch requires you to have v1.1 already installed. If not, we suggest you to take a look at iD Software.

And now, a final piece of advice:
The 1.2 update does affect pure server and protocol consistency. Therefore, players who update to 1.2 from ANY previous version will only be able to play multiplayer against other 1.2 users, and save games and demos created on any previous versions of the game will not be compatible with the 1.2 update.
