Quake 4 v1.3 patch released & local
The new update adds some community-requested stuff like more agile player movement, weapon balance adjustments, a single ambient light option, improved rendering and CPU peformance. There is also a new gametype (DeadZone), a new multiplayer weapon (Napalm Launcher), 8 new professionally made maps, 4 revized maps for additional DeadZone support, and a "Buy" mode server option that allows you to purchase weapons and equipment. The patch is not backwards compatible.
