Quake 4 will be cheater-proof

As the developers of Quake 4 not only try to create a fantastic singleplayer experience, but also an unequalled multiplayer, they have decided to put a stop to -those goddamn- cheaters:
Activision has contracted with Even Balance, Inc. to integrate PunkBuster™ Anti-Cheat software into the highly anticipated multiplayer component of QUAKE 4™, currently being developed by Raven Software and executive produced by id Software™. PunkBuster Anti-Cheat features will be available "out-of-the-box" with the retail release of the game.
Punkbuster can be found in numerous other games, like the Battlefield series for example, and it proved to stop (quite some, not all) cheaters. Let's hope they succeed in definitely stopping them this time...
