id Software has announced that the closed beta for their free to play browser based Quake 3 evolution Quake Live will end today. No worries though as the open beta launches tomorrow.

For those already in the beta but quite inactive, mind you that you need to have played in the past 28 days or your stats will be wiped. Still didn't get any invite? Head over to the official site to register.

Now if you'd excuse me while I fire up that game again so my stats don't get wiped :)
