Quakecon lineup announced

First public demo at Quakecon

Those attending QuakeCon will certainly have a blast.

The QuakeCon organisation and id Software have announced the lineup of the event and things look nice as always.

Main events will be the very first public demonstrations of Rage and Splash Damage's new Bethesda-published shooter Brink.

That's not all though:

Several contests are lined up including one where you can win a Ford Mustang Shelby,

id Software will be holding a press conference to show what they're working on

John Carmack will be offering his annual Keynote

Bethesda Game Studios’ Todd Howard will be coming along to talk about game development

Jonathan Fatal1ty Wendel will be available to check your shooting skills

Escalation Studios’ Tom Mustaine will be answering questions on iPhone development (more specifically on Doom: Resurrection)

finally several hardware workshops and presentations will also be given by people from (amongst others) nVidia, Creative Labs and OCZ.
