Rebellion: we won't alter AvP!

Rebellion refuses to alter AvP
Following news that Australia is banning Aliens vs Predator, Rebellion has issued a statement:
"We will not be releasing a sanitized or cut down version for territories where adults are not considered by their governments to be able to make their own entertainment choices."

"It is for adults and it is bloody and frightening, that was our intent."
So Sega will not be able to get an altered version of the game rated by the Australian Board of Classification and since Aussies don't have an "Adult" rating in their system, it will probably not get sold at all. Unless for some weird reason, Sega's appeal to the board would succeed (which I believe is very unlikely).

To be honest: systems like that in Australia (or Germany for that matter) where there's no "adult" rating present are just insane if you ask me. It's like saying there are only kids living in your country... Or saying that the adults in your country are all mentally challenged and have the brain of a six year old. Something I believe the people who invent such systems may very well have...

People can always buy it through some digital distribution that doesn't care about regions.

Though its still lame.
