Red Alert 3 development for PS3 'on hold'

EA has confirmed to videogaming247 that the Playstation 3 version of the RTS Red Alert 3 has been put on hold.

“We can confirm that the development of Red Alert 3 for PS3 has been put on hold. EA LA is focusing resources on development for PC and Xbox 360 which will ship simultaneously this autumn.”

This was EA's response to rumour about the cancellation of the game on PS3. Apparently online shop Gamestop simply scrapped the PS3 version from their release list.

Ah well, it might pop up a bit later then on PS3 (or maybe not at all in the worst case scenario).
