Red Dead Redemption has higher resolution on X360
If you want to play Rockstar Games Wild West shooter Red Dead Redemption at the highest resolution, you better have an Xbox360.
Beyond3D pixelcounter Al_Strong has checked out the PS3 version and found out that its vertical resolution is 640 lines. This has been confirmed by Quaz51 (the guy who broke the news on Halo 3's sub-HD resolution) who added that its horizontal resolution seems to be the same as that of GTA IV, meaning 1152 pixels.
When you count both, you get the equivalent of 644p which is about 20% less than the XBox360 version which runs at 720p with 2x anti-aliasing.
On the upside of the PS3 version: that one gets some exclusive content.
So, what would you prefer? (slightly) Better graphics or exclusive content?
