Red Faction coming to TV

TV movie and maybe even a series

Alan Seiffert, senior VP of Syfy Ventures (SyFy Channel) has unveiled in an interview that Syfy has struck a deal with THQ to make a 2 hour TV movie based on Red Faction. If the movie does well, it will even be used as a pilot for an upcoming series:

"It is the kind of content that fits our genre," Alan Seiffert, senior VP of Syfy Ventures, told B&C. "It is a great fit for a big Syfy Saturday movie, and if it really works, it is a great back-door pilot."

This isn't the first announcement from both parties regarding their recent partnership which started in February. Also de Blob (coming to TV) and Ghost Hunters Academy (to be turned into a game) have been named already.
