Several French websites have found a rumor which states Ubisoft getting ready to announce Red Steel 2 on Wii.

Red Steel sold about a million times worldwide, although the game wasn't of a super high quality. So, selling one million copies of number one seems enough of a reason to try the same with a sequel.

First up, the swordplay found in the original will be rebuilt from the ground up. Also, Red Steel 2 should have an online mode.

Ubisoft itself isn't all to happy with this leak and denies the announcement of the game. Lets say it's being developed but we weren’t supposed to know.
