Red Xbox 360 is not a myth, just a bloody elite

Even though the images have been floating around the web for a few days now, we weren't quite sure if that red Xbox 360 was the real deal. Up until now that is because Engadget was amongst the first to spot in after the Xbox Live Marketplace got an update with information on this Limited Edition.

Nothing truly shocking to find out though. It is just a red Elite with a red wireless controller bundled with Resident Evil 5 and Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. No information on how and when to pre-order one is available at this time.

Update: Microsoft now made it official and added a real mugshot of the console.
