Release date Final Fantasy XII

The last, real Final Fantasy for Playstation 2 has been released for a while in the U.S. and Japan, but we Europeans had to wait again. That waiting will now come to an end, because Square-Enix let us know you will find the RPG in the shops on February 23.

The hugely anticipated PlayStation 2 title will be the last core title in the famed RPG series to appear on the Sony console, with number 13 already queued up for PlayStation 3.

Reviews tell us this game kicks ass and it has won several "Game of the year" titles. So, while you wait for number 13 on the PS3, you can play this Final Fantasy XII for PS2.
