I don't know a single gamer (from before the 'what does esdf mean?' age) that didn't like the original Homeworld from back in 1999, nor do I know many that disliked the 2003 successor called Homeworld 2.

Although the latter one was quite the big chunk to chew because of its, at some points near insane, difficulty, it is still known as one of the best space RTS games to date.
