It was only last week we could report Empire Total War - in its launch week - already managed to climb to the number one position in the UK's top 20 games sold chart. This week it seems the PC exclusive has been removed from its throne by Resident Evil 5 just as quickly as it got there. The new number one, Capcom's horror shooter, pushes SEGA's flagship title back to an 8th place. Not really a surprise considering all the news of good sales figures for RE5.

Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X.s airplanes on the other hand reach new heights when they come in third, and Wii Fit rolls in on second place. This means Playstation 3 exclusive Killzone 2 drops from a 2nd to a 5th place.

Aside from Wii Fit, Nintendo manages to put a second title in the top 5. Namely, Professor Layton and the Curious Village, which climbs from 6th to 4th.

It's also noteworthy to mention Halo Wars dropping from 5th to 9th, and therefore almost risking to drop out of the top 10 altogether. That's more than can be said for Street Fighter, which has already been demoted from a 7th to a 13th place.
