Revolution dev kits available

Actually, they're "out there". That's what Satoru Iwata, president of Nintendo, said in an interview. The publishers have yet to officially declare their interest in the Revolution and announce future titles for it.

Speaking in an interview with BusinessWeek, Iwata said, "Development kits are already out there, depending on which stage you're talking about. All I can say right now is 'in the near-future' for the basis platform information they will need to get started on games."

The good man also said something about the new interface. It should allow "new forms of innovation". Nintendo is not ready to show them to the world yet though. They will be easy-to-use. A microphone is an option, but if it'll be included, it will not be considered as a "defining feature". One last thing that Iwata said was that Nintendo didn't "simply rely on sheer horsepower". Let's wait and see if it'll be a real revolution or not.
