Rick Seis joins Castaway Entertainment
Rick who? Rick Seis is the former Technical Director of Blizzard North (the lads behind the Diablo games). He was also a senior programmer for Diablo and the lead programmer for Diablo II. He will now take on the role of Technical Director and lead programmer for Castaway's unannounced project.
Castaway Entertainment was already a gathering of ex-Blizzard North staff (just like Flagship Studios) so Rick should feel right at home.
The undisclosed title they are working on is an action rpg for PC and next-gen consoles. You can already see some artwork on the official Castaway website. They are still searching for a right publisher. When the company was founded (in 2003) it was said that EA would publish the game but the deal apparently didn't work out anymore.
