IGN has the scoop on Rise & Fall: Civilizations at War, the new real-time strategy game by Stainless Steel Studios (Empire Earth, Empires: Dawn of the Modern World).

Apparently this title will feature only one setting (the Classical Age more or less), mass combat and a more heavy emphasis on seacombat than most people are used to in a present rts. You can also take control over one of eight heroes in third person style.

The publisher is Midway which clearly seems to expand its reach to the PC-platform too now.
