Rock Band pre-orders going strong

There has been lots of doubt whether Rock Band can be a success, because of its high price tag. 200$ is definitely a lot of money for some toys.

The first results on Amazon show a different picture, however. The special edition (including a mic, drums and guitars) is currently ranked fourth in their pre-order sales charts. Though it's not a total surprise, with all the hype surrounding the game, it's still a remarkable fact.

On the list of Xbox 360 bestsellers, the game currently ranks 3rd; for the PlayStation 3 bestsellers, that version is currently ranked 9th.

Apparently, especially X360 owners are looking forward to the game. And what about you? Will you fill your living room with plastic instruments?
