Rumour: price drops for PS3 and X360 coming this Fall

End of the line for the current PS3 model?
A "reliable source" of Arstechnica has revealed that both Sony and Microsoft are planning to make some major changes to their hardware lineups this coming Fall.
Sony's supposed to be launching the PS3 Slim this Fall with dropping the price of the current 160GB version of the PS3.
Meanwhile, Microsoft apparently will be ditching the Xbox360 Pro in July or August with the Elite systems taking over that spot in the lineup in September after a price cut.
Personally I think this rumour might indeed be true. If Sony is going to launch a new PS3 Slim, it would only make sense to drop the price of the original version until stock wears out. It's not like they haven't made such a move before. And Microsoft replacing the Pro system with the Elite doesn't sound so strange either as adding hard drive space isn't that much of a cost.
