Stomped recently received a gold copy from Human Head's upcoming viking game Rune and they've posted their first impressions on the game[BLOCK]There are a ton of scripted events in Rune, especially in the first level as you meet various members of your Viking band. One bit that may make some people jump is seeing a big fish charge at the player character while he was in an underground structure.

The game itself runs very well. On the machine used to review Rune, a PII 450 with 128 megs of RAM and a 32 meg GeForce 256 DDR card, there was not a noticable slowdown in framerate, even at 1024x768 with 32 bit color. No crashes have occured while playing, either
