SCi to be bought by EA?

The BBC is reporting that SCi, the company that recently bought Eidos, may well be taken over by another company with EA as one of the possibilities

Shares in computer games maker SCI Entertainment have jumped by 25% after it said it had received approaches from "various parties" over a possible bid.

the Daily Mail said SCI was a target for three firms - US computer games firms Midway and Electronic Arts, and private equity firm Apax Partners.

The games industry really IS becoming a daily soap opera...
