When we were at E3, we got the chance to look at an early version of SSX3. Our hosts were executive producer Steve Rechtschaffner and producer Larry LaPierre - two CC's ( Crazy Canadians ;)

I'll be honest with you, I've never liked what I call 'cartoonesk boardinggames' simply because they all try in their own way to simulate some kind of reality. And they all failed miserably. On top of that, I admit *blush* that I never played the original SSX game either, but what I saw at E3 literaly blew me of my chair.

Even though it was a very early version, the (Xbox) graphics were amazingly cool, the sound and musicscore were exactly what they should be and as far as gameplay is concerned ... well ... that was literaly incredible.
It is so far-fetched and over-the-top that it became pure fun. So much so that this is the first real 'cartoonesk' title I am really looking forward to (and Ubisofts XIII, but that's another story).

Anyway, to make a long story short, the guys from EA Big have updated their SSX 3 website with some cool stuff:

• Peak 2 (out of 3) has now been opened, with rather small videosequences
• some very cool movies can be found under 'Tricks' which show you some of the riders moves
• they've put the musicscore online with tracks from Royksopp, N.E.R.D., Yellowcard and ... the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
