S.T.A.L.K.E.R. presentation in Russia
Posted on Tuesday, 28 February 2006 by Devilke, source: Oblivion-Lost
Many gamers look forward to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Sadly, this shooter was delayed a couple of times, so a lot of gamers think the worst about GSC Game World’s newest game.
During a presentation of Oleg Yavorsky (Head of Public Relations at GSC) on the Gameland awards in Russia they finally released some new images of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. A remark that needs to be mentioned is the fact that the quality is far from perfect and that the new situations in the movie (60 MB) aren't very interesting.
So, what do you see? Ukraine would-be metal with a German flute on the background. Don't ask us why but it sounds and looks so wrong it needs to be mentioned. It turns out the band of Oleg Yavorsky himself. The man has his own ideas of promoting his game. However, this could be the beginning of a new, big PR-campaign so we'll finally know a bit more about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and the release date.

I agree, Oleg's band sucks ass and an alley-cat sound much better. Their music just lacks well structure, which is the basis in any kind of music.
There is a chance that the game might be released in Q3 sometime, however don't get your hopes up. In worst case, it will be pushed to early 2007.
