Sacrifice Stuff

There are some new screenshots from Sacrifice over at GameAddicts and Gamersed decided to even make a preview on the game, including again some more new shots.[BLOCK]
As far as graphics go, this game is just flat out gorgeous. I don't think I have ever seen so much eye candy thrown into one game before. The skies are filled with vibrant colors that give mood to the current scene. The landscapes are covered with plants and insects among other things. And the spell effects are nothing short of breath-taking. With over 50 spells and 50 creatures in the game there is plenty for you to look at. This is by far the most screenshot friendly game I have ever played.

<img src="www.gamersed.com/images/shots/sacrifice/shot31_s.jpg"; align="right]I don't have many complaints for this game, but the ones I do have are things that could lead a player to enough frustration that he might not enjoy playing the game anymore. First the controls, as they seem to be my biggest complaint. I find it very difficult to believe that a new player can just jump right into the game and hope to have any amount of chance for survival. There are way too many controls you have to learn in order to be able to fight successfully. Luckily Shiny remembered to include a pretty nice set of in-game tutorials. My only other complaint is that some of the single player missions could use a few extra hints on how to get through them. There are quite a few levels that you will probably find yourself playing numerous times until you just happen to stumble upon the correct way to win. And that is something that can easily frustrate a player when jumping into a new game.
