NPD says the launch of DS Lite, THQ's collaboration with Pixar for the release of Pixar's Cars and availability of Xbox 360 are key reasons for the shift. "It's as if consumers woke up and decided to start gaming again," said NPD analyst Anita Frazier to the wire service. But what are they playing?
Especially the DS Lite, the Xbox360 - finally no more shortcomings - and Cars, named after the Pixar animation movie, seem to be determing factors for the successful month of June.
