Move along, there's no PS3 to see here.
It looks like website Videogamer has received confirmation that Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell V: Conviction will *not* appear on the PlayStation 3. This brings an end to the rumor that the game was to appear on that console on April 1.

Ha ha, who didn't saw that coming...

"This is just a mistake by the retailer. The game is not coming out on PS3 nor is it coming out on April 1. We're sticking to the original announcement", said the spokesperson.

"The original announcement," meaning Xbox360 only (and probably PC). According to the latest press release, the game is also planned for next financial year (which happens to begin on April 1).

Crap or not, the game just never appealed to me...I'll take Metal Gear Solid 4 over this (and I will) any day ;)

well looks like microsoft is dealing out the dollars to ubisoft again while their poor customers beg for them to fix the red ring of death. I guess its another trip through the jungle of microsofts replacement service for 360 owners/victims. Enjoy, from ms!!!

i liked the multiplayer of double agent, but the singleplayer was a bit less, their new trust system was broken imo. In the end you had to stay neutral all the time because if you completely lost your trust with the terrorists or NSA, it was game over.

It would've been cooler if you could've really taken a side :]

also i found the game was a bit "heavy" for what it showed, hopefully it's smoother then double agent :)
