Sam & Max 2 in pre production
During a panel conversation about how to bring alife good stories in a computer game, the people of Telltale Games have used Sam & Max 2, amongst others, to give some examples.
At this moment, Telltale is busy trying to translate the comic "Bone" in episodes for the pc. Of course, they still have the Sam & Max franchise they bought from Lucasarts last year. Dan Connors told this about the game:
He also gave away that they are now in the pre production phase of the game. Some designs are known and they are now mainly brainstorming before going in definitive production.

"Sam & Max in comparison to Bone is an interesting thing where Jeff [Smith, creator of Bone] tells a great story and creates a great world, and Steve [Purcell, creator of Sam & Max] creates amazing characters with very distinct personalities in a pretty consistent world, but a very open world. The coolest thing about Sam & Max is, at any point any idea is valid...always. Any character could show up at any time. That makes our brainstorming sessions a lot of fun, obviously. Of course, with Steve it's always funny because you get to the point where you come up with the craziest idea you can think of, and then Steve says, 'I don't know if that's Sam & Max-y enough; what can we throw in there that's a little bit stranger?' So it's an interesting challenge to have, but a fun one nonetheless."
