God Hand is the nickname of the leading character, a hero who once succeeded in locking up 'evil' thanks to his hands who radiate a golden glow. That glow isn't because he touched the glitter paint too often, but because God himself had blessed him with special powers.
Unfortunately bandits noticed that and one day they managed to cut off and take with them his right hand. Such a lamp looks good on the dresser, doesn't it ? Still more spectacular is the fact that Jean wakes up the next morning with a new hand : God Hand !
Sounds stupid, but the gameplay could become a lot better since you will only be able to fight with your bare hands (one hand is of course incredibly strong):
In terms of gameplay, "This is a game where you have to beat the bad guys only with your bare hands, there are no swords or guns. The main character, Jean, is not a conventional hero who fights to 'save the world', but fights the bad guys because he doesn't like them."
If your knuckles look a little bruised, you wil by the way also be able to let someone have it with iron pipes, planks and other stuff you will find on the ground. Somewhat like Condemned !
