Add to the list of trends started in 2011: next to paying for multiplayer when buying a second hand game, you can see the Season Pass as something that won't be going away anytime soon.
Also Uncharted 3 which arrives in stores in November for the PS3 will get one. With the pass, called "The Fortune Hunters' Club", you get access to the first four multiplayer map packs (so you can expect a series....) as well as the first three packs with multiplayer skins. The first of these DLC packs will already arrive also in November.
You'll also get a theme for your PS3 and your XMB will notify you when new DLC becomes available in the Playstation Store. In the US this pass will set you back 25 dollars, which is supposed to be a 45% reduction on the price if you were to buy all DLC seperately.
