Sega Sammy profits down 23%

Posted on Thursday, 8 February 2007 by Speed, source: Gamasutra
Gamasutra is reporting that despite Sega's good efforts, the Sega Sammy group as a whole isn't doing too great.

Profits for the group fell down with 23% in their last nine months financial earnings and the main reason for this is failing sales in Sammy's pachinko sales

The downturn in profits and revenues were primarily blamed on falling pachinko sales from the Sammy side of the business, which were not offset by rising revenue from the company’s amusement center operations.
