Surprise! Kotaku has received word that the development studio behind Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 isn't Sega's own Sonic Team, but rather Dimps.
Dimps is most well-known from their work on Street Fighter IV but they've also previously worked on Sonic Rush and Sonic Advance. So they do have some experience with Sonic and 2D. Might be a good thing!
