About two years ago Wings Simulations, the studio where Söldner: Secret Wars was being developed, was shut down by publisher JoWood. At that time it was said that Söldner 2 would never be released.

But JoWood has now decided to bring out a sequel in this tactical shooter series anyway. This time the game will be developed by the German gEasy Development Team.

The game should be released by the end of 2007.
