Earlier this year, reports came up about Deus Ex 3. Today, Eidos has not only confirmed the project but has also revealed more information about this FPS/RPG sequel.
Gamasutra has a lot of extensive intel, VoodooExtreme already has a teaser trailer (CGI, nothing in-game).
This is the short story: a new studio, Eidos Montreal (site, is developing it. The project is in a very early stage but even then the devs will "only" get 18 to 24 months to complete the game (can you say "a 2009 release"?).
And that's it, no Warren Spector around this time as well, it sounds like a whole new start for the series. Hopefully Deus Ex 3 will be more like the first game and not like Invisible War.
