Sony: PS3 to overtake X360 by this Summer

Sony is never afraid to give a pretty big statement and they've done it again.

Speaking with MCVUK, SCEE president and CEO David Reeves said that the PS3 is scheduled to overtake Xbox360 sales in all PAL territories (Europe) by this coming Summer

“It has not yet reached that in the UK. But the team here expect to overtake the installed base of Xbox 360 across all PAL territories in late summer. It’s also worth mentioning that last week we outsold Xbox 360 in PAL territories by a ratio of three to one.”

So what do you think? You believe Sony is capable of taking over the lead Microsoft has with its Xbox360 so soon already?
