Sony and MS in Fortune's Dumbest Moments in Business
Sony's first mentioning is due to the European promo night for God of War where a goat was slaughtered, topless waitresses were handing out drinks and people got to play around with snakes and intestants. Quite a fun idea in our book though!
Guests were invited to pull live snakes from a pit, be fed grapes by topless hostesses, and reach inside the still-warm carcass of a freshly slaughtered goat to eat offal from its stomach.
Also the decision to have a fight take place in an existing church in England in Resistance: Fall of Man is mentioned.
Microsoft on the other hand gets noted as their PR agency sent 13 pages of background info about a writer to... the writer himself instead of the management.
