yeah xbox may have won. but we tested gta iv on xbox 360 and PS3 and ps3 flogged the 360 hard out! we also tryed other games that were multy platform and ps3 flogged it all.

not quite a flogging for either console. the ps3 potential and xbox reliability has been lacking. both these systems suck hard out!! i laugh at the FACT that the underpowered wii is flogging the xbox and ps3 combined in monthly sales, and that can be said as a REAL fact and not just some fanboy.

true true, WII is winning the console war, I dont own a Wii but its the underdog, xbox360 and ps3 fight will never end until they both come up with something unique like the Wii did, or may be they should try to make most of their games exclusive otherwise i dont see any difference between ps3 and xbox360, i got a ps3 and my mate has got an xbox360 so both consoles to me, are similar, they are as bad as each other, the xbox reliability is low and the ps3 is so boring due to a lak of games

not stating either company is right but where i bought my gta4 (US) I was told the 360 version was flying off the shelf compared to the ps3. And as far as flogging goes. Let's see you test the episodic content coming in the fall on your PS3, then we'll see whom flogs whom.

Rockstar saw something in the 360, and no Im not talking about Dollar signs. For them to accept an exclusive deal to release new content in the fall for the 360 only, its saying something. Regardless of which consoles copy is selling better, its all win-win for Rockstar who has produced a marvelous game and are sitting back in their comfy chairs laughing at the back and forth banter between Sony and Microsoft. They listened to people in what they wanted in a game and are now reaping the rewards. The biggest winners in this whole story are fans and Rockstar.

The Wii is a toy and shouldn't be compared in sales to the other 2. Its like adding the PC to the fray and saying PC is killing the competition. The wii is very popular in sales but you read of so many and know people who have packed up their Wii's in its box. Games like WiFit help people pull out their Wii's but again thats another fad and you'll find WiiFit packed up away next to the Wii.

I own Wii and don't own PS3 or XBOX. And I have no intention of packing it as it's pure fun compared to others. If you call Wii a toy then what are other consoles? Oracles from God? Instruments of faith? I'll tell you what they are: Failed toys! This PS3 hype from fanboyz is sickening. Face it! It's a failure and will never dominate market like PS2 did, those days are over. PS3 can be compared to Gamecube when it comes to it's rating amongst players.

you guys are so full of shit. the wii with its ps2 graphics are for kids and for grown adults who want to be kids. If I was a non-gaming parent like many parents are, I'd buy the wii instead of the other two, cuz its cheaper. Thats whats driving its sales. the parents, and the fad factor. As a gamer, I cant see myself in my room by myself acting like im shooting something, throwing the wiimote like im joe montana, or driving the stupid wiiwheel. I'd feel like a straight moron. My roomate has the wii and he jus got mariokart...looks just like the snes (lol) mariokart except u have to drive this cumbersome wiiwheel. This is coming from a guy that grew up on nintendo, but theres nothing in it for me anymore. Childish games...hell if sony or microsoft really wanted, they can come out w a wiimote app too, its not rocket science...Its 'winning' simply because its cheaper. I bet my LIFE that if they were all the same price, the wii would be in a museum somewhere. Even if the Wii dominates so bad that ps3 and 360 had to fold,(never) I'd be happy with my COD4(the real COD4), and my GTA4, amongst other games. Nintendo if they really want, could pump up its production to satisfy demand, but they dont, to keep public interest...you cant get it, you want it its a coveted hot item right now. Its just marketing you numnuts. I worked for a bookstore and grown adults would rush in for the next Harry Potter book for themselves, and I'd say to myself...wow the power of the fad. its the same concept here.
