Sony bragging about PS3 again

Sony: "we're the best"

Every so often, there just HAS to be some company bigwing who has to show he's got the biggest. Mouth that is.

Latest in the line of Sony people bragging about their console is SCEA Senior Vice President of Publisher Relations Rob Dyer who stated that the Playstation 3 is doing better for publishers than Microsoft's Xbox360:

"We do better for our publishing community than 360 does," Dyer stated. "As our installed base starts catching up and gaining on 360, you're going to see the publisher side much quicker get to par than even if we had the same number of [360 hardware] units

What Dyer forgets to mention is that in January, the Xbox360 still managed to outsell the PS3 in the US... so the PS3 isn't really "gaining" on the X360 when it comes to installbase...

when it comes to install base in the us yes thats true. But look at japan and look at those numbers look at euro numbers and look at the up swing in the US and you can clearly see the ps3 will surpass the year start lead the 360 had probally this year.
