Sony delivers PS3 skin tutorial

Over at the official Sony PS3 blog a tutorial was released on how to create a custom theme for your console. The entire explanation comes with a small tool which allows you to compile your source files and images into something your PS3 can handle.

I’m here today to walk you through how to make and install your own Themes for your PLAYSTATION 3. All you’ll need are:

an image editing program (MSPaint, Adobe PhotoShop, etc.)
the provided “compiler” program
a little time

Start by downloading the “HowToMakePS3Themes.zip”.zip file here and extracting it onto your computer.

Surely this is fun for all you gamers out there who love to put that little personal touch to your consoles. You can read the entire post right here.

I bought a Playstation 3, primarily to play Blueray DVDs on it. But I also bought a couple of games for it. However, I have not been able to figure out how to use it correctly. I can play DVDs if I do not have proceed to chapters, because the DVD stops and I can not make it go to the next chapter. Also I cannot play the games I bought for it because I do not know what the sybols on the controller are for and how to use them.
