Sony invests $20 million in development PSN games.

Sony Entertainment has announced they'll invest no less than $20 million in their Pub Fund out of which exclusive PSN games flow.
The Pub Fund was announced at GDC in 2009 and allows developers to get additional budget to make creative and exclusive titles for the PlayStation Network. Those receiving money from the fund also get help from Sony Computer Entertainment America with the game design and marketing, but the developer does hang onto the rights of the IP and gets to choose when the game will be released as well as its pricetag.
The first games developed with the help of the fund were Burn, Zombie, Burn, Flower, the Pixeljunk series and more recently Critter Crunch and Joe Danger.
According to Brandon Stander, marketing director for PSN, the investment will result in innovative gameplay, vivid images, interesting storylines and an artistic element.
