Sony prepared to adjust SIXAXIS
GamePro had a new interview with Jack Tretton, president and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment America, in which they asked some questions concerning the PS3 SIXAXIS controller. Tretton said the following:
He's not completely clear on the matter, but apparently Tretton and Sony are now convinced rumble isn't exactly as last-gen as they've thought and they're willing to implement it.
The fact their legal quarrel with Immersion (who holds the right on rumble technology) is over now, will certainly have something to do with it.
"You will see peripherals coming from SCEA that will address the interests of the U.S. consumer. I don't have anything to tell you specifically, but we're open to changing the Sixaxis controller."
