Sony: sorry for the firmware
Apparently the new firmware resulted in some people's console no longer functioning as it should. Some of the reactions found on the official forum include the following:
"First of I would like to thank Sony for breaking my PS3"
"All I could see was the green bar and THAT'S IT."
"I'm not happy as everything was working before the update and now whenever I load up the PS3 it crashes and loses all power."
A new update should now be available and solve all the problems from the previous one. Sony also apologised for all the trouble:"All I could see was the green bar and THAT'S IT."
