Sony wants to support PS3 for at least 10 years

It may be true that Sony got hit pretty hard thanks to the PS3's bad sales results in the first half year, but that doesn't mean that they aren't optimistic about the future:
Analysts have concluded that Sony has put more thought into the future and they see an increase in sales in 2008. The Xbox360 and Wii, wich are built for 'immediate market impact', will decrease in sales by then. But who says analysts are always correct?
"We didn't get into PS3 for the first six months of 2007 - we're into this for the next 10 years and beyond," said Tretton. "A million units one way or another at this point isn't going to worry us."
