Sony's Kaz Hirai is a joker

When reading this post over at GamesRadar, all I could was think this guy must become a comedian. He would have an even better-paid job than he already has.
Anyway, Sony's Kaz Hirai stated in the latest issue of Official PlayStation Magazine that it's a GOOD thing that it's difficult to develop for the PS3
So, the fact that there are several developers/publisher nagging about how difficult it is to code for the PS3 is actually GOOD. The fact that this means delays and even cancellations for PS3 titles is GOOD.
And in the end, around the time we'll see the PS4 we'll finally be seeing titles on the PS3 that actually make use of its power! GOOD!

"If they came back and told me, 'PS3? We can do this in a heartbeat,' that would be worrying because what it is telling me is that we're not pushing the envelope from a technology standpoint."
Hirai also commented that gamers would have quite a wait before they could really experience the benefit of PS3's envelope pushing techno-gubbins: "The power that we've packed into PS3 will really manifest itself in software titles that come up four, five or six years down the line."
