Soon DLC for Left 4 Dead?

In a Kotaku podcast Chet Faliszek stated that Valve will soon announce downloadable content for Left 4 Dead. When the DLC will be released exactly, Faliszek didn't know. When the podcast was recorded, he said it would be around Christmas, but delay was possible due to the holidays.

This new content should allow players to play more and longer. Valve apparently has also plans to make Versus possible for the Dead Air and Death Toll campaigns. For now this is only possible for the Blood Harvest and No Mercy campaigns.
The DLC should arrive at the same moment for PC and Xbox360. How much the update will cost, is not clear yet.
