Boris Schneider-Johne of Microsoft Germany has confirmed that the end of May a dashboard update will be released.

This update will contain the long awaited downloadmanager, which allows downloads in the background. You will be able to select up to 6 files, which will be downloaded one after the other. Meanwhile you can continue your game.
If the console is switched off, the downloading process will continue once its turned on again.

This update will contain other improvements too but for now that's a surprise.
