Sources rumour 'PSP2 is coming', others say 'no it's not'

The infamous PSP2 has been rumoured many times and also denied an equal number of times but that doesn't appear to stop gaming websites to continue digging for it.

This time, IGN took a turn at the big spinning wheel of PSP2 rumours claiming that it was 'coming soon'. They follow that up with a blog post detailing more features of the PSP2.
  • It had an Ericsson logo and dual analog nods
  • No UMD drive (PSN connectivity and memory cards)
  • Potential 3G logo noticed (connected 24-7)
  • OLED screen showcased
  • Screen flipped out w/ keyboard underneath (QWERTY style)
  • Quite neat if you ask me, but who's asking, right?

Don't go placing your pre-order just yet as it didn't take very long for these rumours to get denied. This time it wasn't Sony themselves but MCV that countered the rumours with... other rumours.
However, a source close to Sony has told MCV that: “Clearly, being a quiet time of year, many, what we thought to be credible websites, are making up stories about PSP2, and how it allows you to teleport across the globe, travel through time, and will be powered by the horns of baby rhinoceroses.
Battle of the 'sources', didn't see that one before. I want to meet that MCV source in person because that one seems to be just my kind of sarcastic humorist.
