We've received a Q&A session with Ubisoft's Ghost Recon 3 producer, Mathieu Girard, who answers some questions about the PC version of the upcoming game.

In the PC version of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter™, we will develop the tactical aspect further than in the other versions, because this approach best fits this platform, and we know that all Ghost Recon fans are expecting to be able to plan their team’s actions on the battlefield

In one of the Q&A's its stated that the PC community was up in arms about an over the shoulder 3rd person view while playing. There was NO release of Ghost Recon 2 on PC....

Furthermore, in this day and age a person should be able to decide for themselves what view mode they want, be it first or 3rd person.There needs to be the option to have both.
