Even though Spore has widely been criticized for its notorious DRM system by just about anyone but the Pope (He doesn't support the whole evolution theory, therefore He refuses to purchase it), Electronic Arts send word that the game is doing really well by selling over one million copies.

Furthermore, the SporePedia seems to be stacking nicely as well with its 25 million creatures, buildings and vehicles. With these kind of stats you can say 'mission accomplished' when Maxis set its goals of pushing end-user creativity and selling like The Sims.

Last but not least, everybody loves Spore according to Electronic Arts, both casual and hardcore gamers.

Now if only that class action lawsuit would go away, things would be very merry in Spore-land.
